Phebean Swill is a multitalented television/radio presenter, MC for all kinds of shows
and actress excelling in all genres with multiple awards to her credit. She holds a
Diploma in Mass Communication from Fourah Bay College University of Sierra Leone
and is a Final Year student in the Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Broadcasting and
Journalism Programme at the Limkokwing University of Creative Technology.
Phebe, as also popularly known, is the most sought-after female show host in Sierra
Leone has hosted some of the biggest TV and pop culture events including the first
reality TV show in Sierra Leone, Big Sister Salone, and one of the biggest musical
concerts in Africa – Ecofest, alongside Basket Mouth of Nigeria.

Phebe currently co-hosts the biggest reality TV show in Sierra Leone, Housemates
Salone. She also co-anchors the Hidden Treasure reality TV show.
Phebean is also a social entrepreneur who believes that entrepreneurship can solve
some of our biggest development challenges in Africa including job creation. Her
company, Swill Entertainment Empire (SEE) produces The Phebe Swill Platform, a
widely watched lifestyle TV show on national television and YouTube with thousands
of viewers/followers, along with other media contents that include documentaries,
and feature/cinema films.
Her philanthropic efforts at the Phebe Swill Foundation provide mentorship and coaching
to young people in disadvantaged positions to address their social problems through
entrepreneurship. Through this foundation, Phebean has conducted several public
lectures, career talk sessions, and school tours.

Phebean started broadcasting in 2009 but only took up acting for film and television
in 2017, following a career journey launched at age 11 when she was cast in a stage
play titled ‘’THE GOD ARE NOT TO BLAME’’ as one of the King’s daughters. Since
then, she has been resiliently pushing through the industry barriers associated with
film acting in Sierra Leone.
‘’I owe my film acting debut to Director Lansana Spartar who encouraged me to
become an actress. He eliminated some of the barriers that blocked me and so here I
am today as an actress.’’ the grateful actress expresses.
In under 4 years, she has done about 14 movies, collaborating with top industry
personalities across Africa. Phebean has been on set with people like Frank Rajah
Arase, Majid Michael, Pascal Amanfor, Lansana Spartar, Zainab Sheriff, Princess Jnap
Sesay, Winston Taylor, Kang Quintus, Ramadan Barrie, Sam Obiago, Gardea Mayon
(Kanon D Boss), and other great talents across Africa.
Phebean is a proud but humble recipient of 3 additional prestigious awards: National
Entertainment Award 2018 for Best Supporting Actress in a Film for her role in ”GAME
ON”; Eminence Africa Entertainment Award 2019 as Best Young Actor and the New
Skool Award 2020 as Best Supporting Actress for her role in ‘’TOGETHER BY LAW’’.
