Johannes Momodu Kamara, also known as Comedian Johanese, is a multi-talented individual who wears many hats, including those of a tailor, network consultant, and graphic designer. He recently hosted his second successful show in 2020, “Unleash,” featuring several comedians as guests.
Johannes attended UMC Moeba Primary School, Govt Municipal Junior Secondary School, and Government Secondary School for Boys Magburka to complete his senior secondary school. He also graduated with a BSC in Networking and Telecommunication from the University of UNIMTECH and holds a Diploma in Computer Science from the Government Technical Institute (GTI).
Aside from being a comedian, Johanese has worked as an immigration officer, data analysis and network officer at Restless UMC Hospital, and as a Songa School of Technology teacher. He began his comedy career in 2017 when Richie Obama, a well-known comedian in Sierra Leone, introduced him.
Johanese initially performed church comedy, but he drew inspiration from Richie Obama, Yemata, Faculty Kindo, and Oga Worwor, who have all influenced his style. He is a talented young man with a bright future ahead of him.
